I will give you the full scope of what SodaHead is all about.

If you don't know what a widget is, you better Google the word then, but to save you from the overloaded world of Google I will quickly break down what a widget is. I am here of course to educate you people right.

A widget is a embeddable chunk of code. I hope that majority of you already have a online social profile like a Myspace or Facebook. So when someone says widget, think of your Youtube Player on your Myspace page, or take a look to the left side of my blog and see the ThisNext flash bag showing products that I like. Every stand alone embeddable chunk of code is pretty much a widget.



Wiki describes a widget as a "portable chunk of code that can be installed and executed within any separate HTML-based web page by an end user without requiring additional compilation. They are derived from the idea of code reuse. Other terms used to describe web widgets include: gadget, badge, module, webjit, capsule, snippet, mini and flake. Web widgets often but not always use DHTML, JavaScript, or Adobe Flash." (Source)
